I.D. Systems announced on June 13 that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has ordered the company’s Wireless Asset Net fleet tracking and management system for a fleet of vehicles at the USPS Buffalo, NY Processing and Distribution Center. The Wireless Asset Net is designed to improve workplace safety by restricting industrial vehicle access to trained, authorized operators and by providing electronic safety inspection checklists. Among other features, the system provides management with reports on vehicle use.
