April 28, 2003

QEK Global Solutions, a fleet services provider, plans to expand into the commercial, utility, and municipal fleet markets, according to Craig Cheatle, director of sales and marketing. Their approach to fleet management includes consulting, program development and implementation, IT solutions, upfitting, vehicle recycling, and disposal. Their clients benefit from on-site fleet coordinators that are focused on reducing fleet operating costs through physical inventory audits, real time decision-making, and consolidating all program expenses.QEK has implemented a direct mailing plan targeting utility and large corporations that might benefit from from consolidating administration and repairs into on-site facilities. Cheatle also said the company has registered with more than 40 state Approved Vendor Lists and is ready to respond to RFQs from across the U.S.QEK currently operates in over 50 locations on 4 continents with more than 1,600 employees.
