ADESA Canada Launches LiveBlock

ADESA Canada has launched LiveBlock, a new e-business solution that allows remote dealers to participate in live, physical ADESA auctions through real-time audio/video feeds and interactive bidding.The technology was launched March 13 at ADESA Calgary, and is expected to be available at all ADESA Canada auctions by the end of the second quarter of 2003. LiveBlock is fully integrated with DealerBlock, ADESA Canada's online auction product, and was developed with the Live Global Bid (LGB) streaming audio and video technologies, a platform for online, interactive auctions.ADESA Canada is a subsidiary of Indianapolis-based ADESA, an ALLETE company.
