Texas Cities Add Prius Hybrid Vehicles to Fleets

Fourteen cities in the state of Texas currently have Toyota Prius hybrid gasoline-electric vehicles in their fleet mix. In all, a total of 118 Priuses are on the road in local government fleet use in Texas. Texas cities that have purchased Prius vehicles include Austin, College Station, Coppell, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Houston, Irving, Lubbock, Mesquite, Pasadena, Round Rock, San Antonio, and Tyler.
