Fleet managers and others responsible for fleet vehicle purchasing decisions will have the opportunity to test-drive or view the latest light- and heavy-duty alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) at the 9th National Clean Cities Conference & Exposition. The conference, to be held May 18-21, 2003 in Palm Springs, will feature introductory and advanced sessions on AFVs. These include a panel discussion with mayors from Salt Lake City and the California cities of Riverside and Palm Springs, who will share how they integrated AFVs into their municipal fleets as well as other tips on creating sustainable communities. The Expo Hall, open throughout the conference, will feature exhibits on light- and heavy-duty AFVs, and displays from component manufacturers, associations, and a variety of companies that produce AFV equipment.
