CEI Celebrates 20th Anniversary

January 27, 2003

CEI is celebrating its 20th year as an accident and risk management service provider. Since its inception, the company has grown from its three founders to almost 185 employees and annual revenues approaching $100 million, the company said. The three founders are all still part of CEI’s executive team: founder and chief executive office Wayne G. Smolda; treasurer and director of human resources Claudia B. Smolda; and director of financial administration Theresa C. Brigidi. They took the company’s first claim from now-defunct Scott Paper Company in 1983.
