Manheim's Tennessee Auto Auction (TAA) and Nashville Dealer's Auto Auction (NDAA) officially merged on Dec. 17, 2002, to provide central Tennessee customers the combined services of both auctions as well as access to the Nashville Auto Auction (NAA) facility. The merged unit will take the Tennessee Auto Auction name, but operate out of the NDAA location on Lebanon Road. It will be run by Robin Treadway, who was the manager of NDAA. The first joint sale will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003. Manheim now has two auctions in middle Tennessee – the new, 170-acre, seven-lane TAA and the NAA with its new, state-of-the-art, 265-acre, 14-lane facility. The two auctions have a mutually beneficial partnership, sharing customers and working together to offer them increased options and the services of both facilities. The NAA's consignors will be able to remarket to TAA's customer base of independent dealers. Remarketers will have the option of taking their vehicles through the lanes at the NAA or TAA.
