Oil Companies and Large Fleets Discuss Fuel Industry

Major U.S. oil companies and large fleet operators recently met to discuss the fuel industry. The meeting was sponsored by Wright Express, which is headquartered in South Portland. Issues discussed included how evolving federal regulations impact fuel supply and availability in the retail fuel market; the importance of quality data and reporting for fuel purchasing; the impact of new, non-traditional fuel retailers in the industry; and the impact of alternative fuels on the industry.
