Herbert "Herb" Smith, Jr. of Satellite Beach, FL, former Southeast regional manager for VPSI, Inc. died November 6, 2002. He was 78. He began his career with VPSI in 1983, as the first Florida manager. He retired in 1996. Prior to joining VPSI, he was national sales manager for Chrysler Corporation’s Gold Key Lease and Dealer Rent A Car programs.
