Former ATA Chairman Paul Schuster Dies at 82

Paul Schuster, who served as American Trucking Associations (ATA) chairman in 1974-75, died on Nov. 1, 2002 in Boca Raton, FL, at the age of 82. Schuster became president of Schuster Express, the company founded by his father, Reuben, in 1946 at the age of 21. In 1954 Schuster served as chairman of the Motor Transport Association. He is survived by Phyllis, his wife; sons Richard, Mark, and Steven; brothers Bernard and Israel; sisters Sarah Hurwit and Hilda Teitlebaum; and six grandchildren.
