The Cobalt Group, e-business solutions provider for the automotive retail market, will make new and used vehicle listings from 650 dealers in the Northeast available through the NYTimes.com Web site. Cobalt announced its partnership with New York Times Digital, the digital business unit of The New York Times Company, on October 17. The listings will be accessible through the automotive section of the site (NYTimes.com/autos). The front page of the section will feature tools for quick search, advanced searching, locating dealers, researching vehicles, and selling vehicles. Dealers will also be able to purchase premium packages that include additional tools like "Quick Quote." Users will have access to nearly 135,000 vehicle listings, and be able to research and perform comparisons of the vehicles. Cobalt will develop, host and maintain the listing pages, as well as manage vehicle inventory data from participating auto dealers and private sellers in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
