Detroit Diesel Names Morrow President

Engine maker Detroit Diesel Corp. has named J. James Morrow its new president, the company announced Sept. 4. He replaces Randy Allran, who retired Aug. 1. Morrow had been senior vice president for aftermarket sales and remanufacturing and has worked at Detroit Diesel in various capacities since 1967, the company said. Morrow graduated from Michigan State University in 1965 with a bachelor's degree in finance and received his master's in business administration from Wayne State University in 1971.
