New NAAA COO Announced

On Aug. 24, Michael P. Hayes was named the new chief operating officer for the National Auto Auction Association, effective Sept. 24. The announcement was made by NAAA President Ray Nichols. The new COO will take over for retiring Pete Lukasiak, who announced that he will be retiring from his position as executive director at the end of the year. Hayes has a long history in the automotive industry, both as a new car dealer and with the National Automobile Dealers Association. His current position is with the NADA Dealer Academy.
