August 13, 2002

Charlie Vogelheim, executive editor of Kelley Blue Book, will be an emcee at the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) 2003, produced by Bobit Publishing, which will take place on Feb. 23-25, 2003 at the Las Vegas Hilton. In addition, the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) will hold its all-member meeting at CAR 2003 on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, said IARA President Dave Langley. The show returns in 2003 to the Las Vegas Hilton, where it took place in 2001. "We're pleased to be able to bring CAR back to the Las Vegas Hilton, where it was very well-received in 2001," said CAR Show Manager Mark Naylor. Larry Tribble of Southern Auto Auction said, "CAR provides a great venue for remarketing ex-ecutives to exchange ideas about current and future industry issues. Attendance at CAR is a must!" "I have always found this conference to be an invaluable resource in gathering information and knowledge regarding the remarketing side of our business," said Jim McCarthy of Siemens Shared Services.
