Speedway SuperAmerica Allows Tax-Exempt Purchases on Diesel with Voyager Card

July 18, 2002

Effective July 1, 2002, Speedway SuperAmerica (SSA) says it will enable diesel tax exemptions on purchases made with the Voyager Fuel Card at its company-owned-and-operated locations. Voyager claims it is the first, third-party fleet card that SSA has authorized to exempt from its federal excise tax on diesel (for qualifying entities). SSA, headquartered in Enon, Ohio, has more than 2,050 stores located in 13 states. Most of the stores are operated under the Speedway and SuperAmerica brand names.
