GM to Launch GMC Canyon Pickup

GM has announced its plans to produce a new mid-sized pickup called the GMC Canyon. According to the company, production of the 2004 model-year truck will commence in the fourth quarter of 2003. The Canyon is set to be sold in U.S. and Canadian showrooms when it hits the market in early 2004. GM said the Canyon will replace the GMC Sonoma pickup. Pricing, production and product feature details have not yet been released.
