General Motors will introduce FleetTrac, a consolidated billing service that will allow customers to have pre-registered fleet vehicles serviced at any participating U.S. GM dealership. Customers will receive one consolidated electronic bill each month. The service will be started in about 60 days by GM Fleet and Commercial Operations. David Hansen, general manager of the GM Fleet and Commercial Operations, said FleetTrac of-fers two benefits: Fleet customers can monitor vehicle repair costs, and FleetTrac will generate more parts and service business for GM enrolled dealers. Hansen said all dealers can enroll. He said he expects that about 3,000 GM dealers will sign up for the program by year end, including the 600 core commercial dealers. There is no enrollment cost for dealers.
