California Certification Achieved for EDI Filing of Motor Fuels Excise Tax

ZyTax, a subsidiary of FuelQuest Inc. announced that the California State Board of Equalization’s Fuel Tax Division has certified its Motor Fuel Excise Tax Automation System for EDI filing of motor fuels excise taxes. The new capabilities will be available to clients in version 3.13 of the software.ZyTax also supports electronic filing for clients in several states that have no formal certification process, including Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. According to Mike Swan, president of ZyTax, “We continue to work with each tax jurisdiction nationwide insuring that our customers have no concerns with any of the electronic filing initiatives across the country.”
