GM Tops List of Michigan's Largest Public Companies

With 2001 revenue totaling $177.3 billion, GM was named the top-ranked Michigan public company, according to the Detroit Free Press’ annual ranking. The second biggest company was Ford Motor Co, with revenue of $162.4 billion.
