Treasury Department Agrees to Consider Depreciation Limits

The Treasury Department has agreed to a request by the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) to consider making changes to the treatment of trucks and vans for depreciation purposes. In a letter to NAFA, a Treasury official said the agency will begin a rulemaking to establish exemptions for trucks and vans from the depreciation limits on vehicles. The rulemaking will begin this summer.
