Software System Offers Parts and Service Reference

February 7, 2002

FleetCross Electronic Reference System offers parts and service managers a comprehensive way to maximize vehicle uptime, improve shop profitability, and increase technician productivity. Created by Service Professionals Inc., FleetCross is a series of eight service, parts, and labor referencing modules that allow users to find information by vehicle unit or vehicle identification number, cross reference millions of OEM and aftermarket part numbers, check standard labor allowances, create an order or estimate, manage inventory, and prepare warranty. With VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standard) codes used throughout the system, more than 1,200 manufacturers and more than 15 million parts references are covered, including applications for heavy- and medium-duty vehicles, trailers, buses, light trucks, cars, off-road equipment, and recreational vehicles.
