NAAA President to Speak at CAR '02 on Managing Residual Risk

Ray Nichols, chairman and CEO of BSC America Companies, will be the featured luncheon speaker at the upcoming Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) 2002 on Saturday, April 13 at the Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, IL. Nichols is president of the National Auto Auction Association, the owner of an auction chain, and a former banker. Nichols will examine the strategies you should employ to minimize residual risk in your portfolio. Attendees will learn how to control losses and use residual forecasts as a successful portfolio management tool. Other featured speakers at CAR 2002 will include John Eckenrode, president of Lee & Mason, who will speak on how to forecast residual trends; Peter Klopchic, vice president of vehicle remarketing for CitiCapital Fleet, who will speak on upstream selling; and Dan Dietsch, managing director of the Manheim Auctions Technical Center in Nashville, TN, who will speak on the need to create industry standards in online remarketing.CAR 2002 will take place April 13-14 at the Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, IL.
