2 Veteran Fleet Managers Retire

Tom Sours will retire as fleet manager from State Farm Insurance on Feb. 1, 2002, after a fleet career spanning more than 35 years. His replacement is Dick Malcom, who will continue the fleet management of State Farm’s 20,000-vehicle fleet. Karen Fries, corporate fleet operations manager for S.C. Johnson & Son in Racine, WI, has retired at end of 2001. She is replaced by Sue Murphy, business support services manager. Murphy oversees 600 cars and 200 vans.
