Southern Auto Auction to be Head Sponsor of Conference Automotive Remarketing 2002

December 6, 2001

Southern Auto Auction will be the title sponsor of the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) 2002, which will be held April 12-14, 2002, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. “We are very happy to once again be the lead sponsor for the Conference of Automotive Remar-keting,” said Larry Tribble, president/owner of Southern Auto Auction. “CAR provides a great venue for remarketing executives to exchange ideas about current and future industry issues.” Since 1947, Southern Auto Auction (SAA) has been serving car dealers in the vehicle remarketing industry. Located in East Windsor, CT, Southern Auto Auction features a major facility that includes a 20,000-unit storage lot, and detail, mechanic and paint shops. SAA has major accounts with recognized names in the remarketing business, including Avis, Bank of America, DaimlerChrysler, and Toyota. CAR 2002 specifically addresses the entire pre-owned vehicle market, and brings together indus-try professionals involved in all aspects of the market. It is sponsored by five of the leading magazines in the industry: Vehicle Remarketing, Automotive Fleet, F&I, Fleet Financials, and Auto Rental News. For information about registering for CAR 2002, call (800) 576-8788.
