Sidney 'Buster' Kelley, Co-Publisher of Kelley Blue Book, Dies

Sidney “Buster” Kelley, young brother of Les Kelley, who founded Kelley Kar Co. and Kelley Blue Book, died Wednesday, Dec. 5. Buster had been battling cancer-related illnesses for some time and died peacefully at home and under the care of his daughter.Buster ran the business on Les’ behalf from the late 1930s. He retired as co-publisher two years ago. He would have turned 93 years old next week. Buster is survived by daughter, Debbie, and son, Bob.The service will be held at Forrest Lawn at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10. The address is 4471 Lincoln Ave., Cypress, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Buster’s name to the Inland Valley Hospice.
