ServNet Expects to Announce New Managing Director at CAR Conference

December 11, 2001

ServNet has retained TPC Management Co., an automotive industry and consulting and management recruiting firm, to coordinate the search and identify prospective candidates for a new managing director for the auction association. The head of the search committee for the ServNet owners is Bob McConkey of DAA Northwest. Working on the candidate search for TPC are its President/Managing Partner Pierre Pons and Senior Partner Richard Curtis. According to Pons, ServNet hopes to announce the new managing director by no later than the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR Conference), which will be held in April 12-14, 2002 in Chicago. “TPC has been directed to make the search far reaching, yet focused, covering the management talent spectrum from all sectors and segments of the automotive industry,” said Pons. “This is a unique opportunity, both in the positioning of ServNet and for a senior automotive industry executive, to move into a position that can make a major impact on the automotive remarketing industry in the U.S.”
