Nevada to Replace 'Big Horn Sheep' Plates

December 18, 2001

The state of Nevada will replace every “Big Horn Sheep” license plate with its new “Sunset” plate during calendar-year 2002. After Dec. 31, 2002, it will be illegal to display the “Big Horn Sheep” plate on a vehicle. The state is mailing new “Sunset” plates with renewal notices.
