Chrysler Group Offers Travel Assistance Programs
As America heads into the busiest travel period of the year, the Chrysler Group and its dealers plan to aid in travel safety awareness and preparedness through several initiatives. As an extension to its “Home for the Holidays” powertrain protection program, the Chrysler Group will provide safe-travel checklists through its dealerships and brand Web sites, produce a series of safety public service announcements, and conduct several community outreach programs through its Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge dealers, and its manufacturing facilities.
The Home for the Holidays Safe Traveling Checklist shows items to pack in the car to be prepared. The checklist will be available at all Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge dealerships, as well as on http://www.chrysler.com, http://www.jeep.com, and http://www.4adodge.com Web sites.
Chrysler Group’s Five Star dealers and several DaimlerChrysler manufacturing facilities are partnering with the Salvation Army to raise donations and use dealerships and manufacturing facilities for clothing and food donations for the Salvation Army.
“Home for the Holidays” provides a seven-year or 100,000-mile powertrain warranty extensioner – at no charge – to any person who purchases a 2001 or 2002 Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge product between now and Dec. 31, 2001.
