Oct. 1 is Job 1 Date for the New LWB Crown Victoria Commercial

August 14, 2001

Ford Motor Co. has announced a Job 1 date of Oct. 1 for the 2002-model year Commercial Heavy Duty Package on the Crown Victoria with 6 inches (152 mm) of increased seat leg room in the rear compartment. The stretch, which increases both passenger comfort and ease of entry, is aimed at the livery and taxi market. Aside from the lengthened wheelbase (120.7 inches instead of 114.7 inches) and rear doors, the appearance of the vehicle is identical to the standard model, and most of the same accessories are available.
