PHH Arval has appointed Jim Halliday to the position of senior vice president and chief business development officer for the company’s North American operations. According to PHH Arval, Halliday will continue to serve as president of PHH Canada, a position the company appointed him to in 2006.

In his new role, the company said Halliday will focus on growing PHH Arval’s business through enhancing its service solutions with new and existing clients, and on aligning the company’s marketing, product development, and consulting efforts to support these areas.

Halliday joined PHH Arval as a client relations leader in central and eastern Canada. Before joining the company, he held sales, operations, and management positions with Fundata Canada, Hollinger Mutual Fund Group, and Vincent Associates.

The company said Halliday has an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario and a masters in business administration from the University's Richard Ivey School of Business. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School's Leadership Development Program and the University of Virginia's DardenBusiness School's Management Development Program.
