SMYRNA, TN – Nissan announced it is shifting production of its Frontier pickup and Xterra SUV to its Canton, Miss., plant in order to make room for other products at its Smyrna, Tenn., plant.

The automaker stated it will be running three shifts at the Smyrna plant to build other Nissan vehicles, including the all-new 2013 Pathfinder, the LEAF, the new Altima, the Maxima, the Rogue, and the Infiniti JX.
