ALPHARETTA, GA – LeasePlan USA, an Alpharetta-based fleet management company with strong ties to the community, recently presented a vehicle to local teen driving school, FEAR THIS, Inc.

FEAR THIS, Inc. offers an advanced driver training course that teaches teens accident avoidance skills. The course is designed and taught by Police Academy Instructors and is the only program of its type endorsed by John Oxendine, State of Georgia Insurance Commissioner.

“As a fleet management company with vehicles on the road all over the country, driver safety and training is extremely important to us. Donating one of our off-lease vehicles to FEAR THIS means that they will be able to teach even more teenagers the driving skills that will last a lifetime, and possibly save a life. The organization has already made a significant impact on the lives of thousands of teenagers in the Atlanta community, and we are honored to be able to help them continue to do so,” said Michael A. Pitcher, president and CEO for LeasePlan USA.

Woodrow Gaines, president of FEAR THIS, Inc. said, “We greatly appreciate the donation from LeasePlan USA. This will allow us to take our training to more locations and will help us save more lives. This vehicle will be used in both our basic and advanced training programs, giving teens the skills needed for today's driving environment.”

This is the fourth vehicle that LeasePlan, a provider of premium vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions, has donated to a local non-profit organization. LeasePlan is also a long-time supporter of the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, and has donated several vehicles to the organization and its clients.
