DENVER -  Hourglass Management Corporation (HMC), an industry leader focused on strategic consultation and best practices within the Automotive Remarketing, Financing and Fleet Management markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Petersen to Senior Sales Executive.

With his extensive background in the fleet and remarketing areas, Mark Petersen's responsibilities will focus on generating new business and extending the relationships for all of HMC's family of companies, which include Flexco Fleet Services (FFS), Innovative Funding Services (IFS), and eFleet Direct.

Petersen brings 27 years of operations, sales and marketing experience to the team at HMC. Prior to joining HMC, Petersen spent five years with Fleets USA, serving as partner and Vice President of Business Development. His extensive remarketing knowledge comes from both his sales and fleet management background where he spent 12 years as a Corporate Fleet Administrator and Fleet Manager. Working as a Fleet Manager allows Mark to look at various services from that perspective and ensures our remarketing programs truly meet the needs of our clients.

As a member of the NAFA – Fleet Management Association (NAFA) for 27 years, Petersen currently serves at the national level as Vice Chair Affiliate for the Fleet Ed Advisory Board and Affiliate Chair for the Rocky Mountain Chapter. In addition to his positions at NAFA, he is also on the Communications Committee of The Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA). He plans to continue his involvement with these organizations.
