General Motors car-sharing app Maven announced its launch in Toronto. The service will initially offer 40 vehicle options to customers.

Maven is a mobility app providing on-demand vehicle reservations for users. Rental rates are starting at $9 Canadian per hour, including gas and insurance.

Users have access to 40 vehicles, including the Chevrolet Cruze, Malibu, Tahoe, Trax and Volt; GMC Acadia and Yukon; and Cadillac ATS and XT5. Maven vehicles are equipped with Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM Radio.

Parking locations for the app include Bloor West Village, Liberty Village, King West, The Entertainment District, City Place, Yonge/Eglinton, Leslieville, Ryerson University, The Danforth, Financial District, Little Italy, and Eaton Centre.
