Ford has unveiled a new global compact utility vehicle, the Freestyle, which is part of the automaker's KA nameplate, and will serve several markets including South America and India, the automaker announced. 

The new Freestyle features a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which offers 94 hp and 88 ft.-lb. of torque, according to CarDekho.

It will also include advanced connectivity features, the SYNC 3 system with voice commands and access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Additional details of the vehicle will be announced in the second half of 2018.
