Fiat Chrysler has provided a glimpse of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, which it will unveil at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Nov. 29, the company announced.

The new model will begin the fourth generation of the Wrangler that emerged in 1987 after Chrysler purchased American Motors Corp. The current model Wrangler JK debuted with the 2007 model year.

The 2018 Wrangler will will "deliver even more legendary Jeep 4x4 capability" with more open-air options, safety features, and advanced technology, FCA announced. The vehicle will also offer a fold-down front windshield and "dozens of different door, top, and windshield combinations."

Jeep will provide full details about the vehicle in late November.
