Ford South Africa has issued a fire-risk recall for 15,600 entry-level Figo and Ikon cars built in India.

Ford is recalling Ikon models built from Aug. 9, 2004 to March 24, 2012, and Figo units built from Jan. 13, 2009 to March 24, 2012, according to Wheels 24.

Technicians will need to replace the "high-pressure power assisted steering hose, which may split, resulting in a power steering fluid leak."

Earlier this year in South Africa, Ford recalled 4,500 Kuga SUVs following dozens of reports of the vehicles catching fire, according to Reuters.
