Mercedes-Benz USA will offer a Metris Worker cargo van for about $3,000 less than its regular model as a more affordable option that's especially targeted at smaller fleets, the company has announced.

The Metris Worker cargo van will go on sale for $26,990, while the Metris Worker passenger van will go on sale for $30,990.

The Metris Worker cargo van arrives only in white as an exterior color and offers two options, including the Convenience Package for $1,999 and Utility Package for $3,999. The Convenience Package adds a rear-view camera, heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, LED lighting in the rear cargo area, cruise control, a rain sensor for windshield wipers, Audio 15 headunit and a first-aid kit.

The Utility Package includes the Convenience Package and adds blind spot assist, a rear window with heated washers and wipers, black roof rails, interior rear view mirror, two additional keys, cargo straps and D-rings, cargo lashing rails on the floor and along the sides of the van, a wood floor in cargo area and interior waist-level cargo area paneling.

The Metris Worker passenger van offers three exterior colors, including white, Obsidian Black Metallic, and Brilliant Silver Metallic. It offers three optional packages, including the Convenience Package, Appearance Package, and Comfort Package. The Appearance Package ($3,999) includes Convenience and adds roof rails, bumpers painted in body color, a liftgate, five-spoke alloy wheels, and black leatherette seats. The Comfort Package ($5,999) includes the first two packages and adds blind spot assist and electric doors on the driver and passenger sides.

Mercedes-Benz recommends a service interval of 15,000 miles for the Metris Worker.
