The 2017 Lincoln Continental will enter the executive market with a starting retail price of $45,485 when it arrives in the fall, according to Lincoln.

Lincoln will offer the new Continental in four trim models with three engine choices and available all-wheel drive. The base model will provide a lower entry point than the Cadillac CT6, which carries an entry price of $54,490.

The 2017 Continental will be available in Premiere, Select, Reserve, and Black Label trim levels with a 3.7L V-6 (300 hp), 2.7L V-6 (335 hp), or twin-turbo 3.0L V-6 (400 hp) with dynamic torque vectoring. Front-wheel drive is standard.

Pricing starts at $45,485 for the Premiere with the 3.7L and FWD. The AWD model starts at $47,485. Pricing for Select models is $48,440 for the 3.7L with FWD, $50,440 for the 3.7L with AWD, $50,690 for the 2.7L with FWD, and $52,690 for the 2.7L with AWD. Reserve models start at $54,840 for the 2.7L with FWD, $56,840 for the 2.7L with AWD, and $60,105 for the 3.0L. Black Label models start at $63,840 for the 2.7L with FWD, $65,840 for the 2.7L with AWD, and $69,105 for the 3.0L.

Lincoln is offering several optional packages, including $1,255 for the Select Plus Package that adds blind-spot/cross-traffic alerts and SYNC 3; $695 for the Climate Package that adds auto high beams and heated seats; $3,105 for the Technology Package that adds a 360-degree camera, park assist, and pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection; $5,000 for the Luxury Package that adds a premium audio system; and $4,300 for a Rear-Seat Package that adds a dual-panel moonroof, power-reclining seats, and heated/cooled seats.
