Volvo has begun taking orders for its 2017 S90 luxury sedan that retails for at least $46,950, the automaker announced.

The S90 T5 Momentum is the base model. It's powered by a turbo-charged Drive E engine that makes 250 hp. It includes a "rich leather interior" and 9-inch touchscreen for the Sensus infotainment system.

The S90 T6 all-wheel-drive Momentum raises the price to $52,950. It's equipped with a turbo- and super-charged Drive-E engine that's connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. The T6 adds heated front seats, a large driver information display and dual integrated tailpipes.

The Volvo S90 will also come with the company's Pilot Assist semi-autonomous driving feature first introduced on the 2016 XC90.
