Google will now offer its same-day or overnight delivery service, Google Express, for non-perishable goods in the Detroit and Ann Arbor area, according to a report by the Detroit Free Press. This comes just a month after the service became available in portions of western Michigan.

Google Express first launched in San Francisco in 2013 and it is available in Boston, Chicago, New York, San Jose, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles.

With this delivery service, customers can shop for items from participating stores like Costco and Fry's all through one platform and have their items by the next day.

Those interested in a membership and free deliveries can become Google Express members for $95 a year. Deliveries, for members, scheduled for a two-hour delivery window, would be $2.99 for each store. And, deliveries for non-members start at $4.99 per store.
