Kia Motors is expected to unveil the fourth generation of its Optima mid-size sedan on April 1 at the New York International Auto Show.
Kia debuted its third-generation Optima in New York in 2010. Since then, the vehicle has been "a catalyst for Kia Motors' tremendous growth and has been the brand's best-selling vehicle in the U.S. for three years running," according to a Kia release.
Kia has produced the Optima since the 2001 model year. Commercial fleets added 460 Optima sedans in 2013, according to Automotive Fleet data.
