General Motors is recalling 3,155 2015 model-year Cadillac SRX SUVs because the front driver's seat may have been built with the wrong seat track bracket, compromising the attachment to the seat track.

As a result, the front outboard seat bracket may become disengaged during a crash, increasing the risk of personal injury, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The recall covers Cadillac SRX luxury SUVs manufactured from Nov. 11 to Dec. 3 in 2014.

Cadillac dealers will make an inspection and replace seat track hook brackets when needed. There will be no charge for this service.

SRX owners can reach Cadillac customer service at (800) 458-8006. GM's number for this recall is 14863.
