Nissan has promoted Judy Wheeler to vice president for the Nissan Southeast Region and Randy Parker to vice president for the Nissan West Region.

The company is also redefining its leadership roles to give each regional vice president a more “comprehensive level of authority and autonomy,” the company announced.

On top of the existing roles a regional vice president would tackle, they also will now handle regional marketing, incentive spending, distribution, dealer network development and financial controls. The two will report to Fred Diaz, senior vice president for U.S. sales and marketing and operations.

“These redefined positions will give our regional leadership improved ability to align regional performance metrics with overall Nissan North America goals such as improving consolidated operating profit, growing market share and maximizing return on investment spending," Diaz said.
