General Motors has introduced the 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain HD, an four-wheel-drive pickup truck that goes on sale this summer.

The Sierra All Terrain HD is available as a 2500HD or 3500HD truck with a double cab or crew cab configuration in SLE or SLT trim levels. The truck's all-wheel drive system includes an electronically controlled transfer case. Other standard features include the Z71 off-road package with Rancho twin-tube shocks, hill descent control and a skid plate.

The truck gets the Sierra HD's 6.0L gasoline engine standard with the Duramax turbo-diesel optional.

Additional features added to the 2015 Sierra HD lineup include StabiliTrak with trailer sway control, enhanced cooling airflow, and Duralife disc brake rotors.

In early April, Chrysler introduced the 2014 Ram Power Wagon, a Heavy Duty-based work truck with off-road enhancements.
