Volvo XC60 Reaches Sales Milestone

Volvo's XC60 compact SUV has sold more than 500,000 units globally since its introduction as a 2009 model-year vehicle, the automaker reported.

The vehicle, which received a facelift for the 2014 model year, reached the sales milestone in April. During the first four months of this year, Volvo Cars has sold 41,920 XC60 SUVs, which represents a 24.2 percent increase from the same period in 2013.

The 500,000th XC60 was shipped to the U.S.
