The 2014 Fleet Safety Conference, set for July 22-23 in Schaumburg, Ill., will feature a keynote address detailing how Johnson & Johnson has used results of a fleet safety benchmark survey to measurably improve fleet safety.

The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) benchmark survey compiles data to help identify which fleet safety program elements are the most effective among participating companies. The survey addresses a range of subjects, including cell phone policies, driver training, post-crash review processes and the use of in-vehicle monitoring technology.

Keynote presenter Sandra Lee, director of worldwide fleet safety for Johnson & Johnson, will outline the steps the company took to turn NETS guidelines into a practical, successful fleet safety program.

Last year, Lee received the conference’s Fleet Safety Award, in recognition of her leadership and innovation in the field. Lee also served as NETS board chairperson in 2012 and 2013.

Lee's keynote presentation is set for 9 a.m. on July 23.

The Fleet Safety Conference will be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Ill. For more information, click here
