Hyundai Motor Co. released a preview image of the 2015 Sonata Tuesday and promised to provide additional details about its redesigned mid-size sedan at the New York International Auto Show in April.

The Korean version of the Sonata will make its debut later this month in South Korea.

Hyundai also announced pricing for the 2014 Sonata Hybrid, which will be offered in a base and Limited trim level. Both vehicles get a 2.4L Atkinson four-cylinder gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain that includes a 35 kilowatt electric motor. The powertrains are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The base model starts at $26,000, while the Limited starts at $30,750.

The 2014 Sonata Hybrid base model will get 36 miles per gallon city, 40 mpg highway, and 38 mpg combined, while the Limited will get 36 mpg city, 40 highway, and 37 combined, according to Hyundai.

Hyundai is offering a lifetime battery warranty for the Sonata Hybrid. Standard features now include LED interior dome lights, a color touchscreen, and a rear-view camera.
