GM announced fuel economy numbers for the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel, which the automaker said will deliver an EPA-estimated highway MPG. GM estimates the range of the diesel version of the Cruze is 700 miles on a single tank.

The Cruze Diesel’s engine can produce an estimated 148 hp and estimated 258 lb. ft. of torque. Standard equipment on the Cruze Diesel includes the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather-appointed seats, a five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, and a two-year maintenance plan.

The Chevrolet Cruze Diesel has a starting MSRP of $25,695, including an $810 destination charge and will be available in select markets this spring and nationwide and in Canada in early fall, according to GM.
