For connectivity, this model features BMW ConnectedDrive, which provides a range of standard and optional driver assistance systems. The vehicle also features an enhanced version of Automatic Collision Notification for the BMW ConnectedDrive system. The system automatically transmits the vehicle’s location, type, and crash data to a call center, which is designed to help emergency responders to respond to the accident. The driver can also trigger an emergency call to be connected to the BMW call center.

According to the automaker, the 3 Series Gran Turismo will arrive in the U.S. in a 328i and a 335i model in the summer of 2013 as a 2014 model.
